A very interesting game is Mania 2. In its nature, this is a mod for Streets of Rage Remake, but with the idea that you play on the hardest mode. Enemies have a lot of health and are numerous, making overcoming each new wave extremely difficult. This will satisfy the fans of Beat 'em Up games, but to enjoy the full potential of this game, it is highly recommended to set the engine to mania mode in the settings of SoRR: Options, Game Options, Level-Mania.
Gaming is surprisingly short—about 45 minutes—and includes five stages. In principle, these are less than the standard 8 in SoRR, but they are much more difficult.
Mania 2 also includes several alternative routes that you can choose from. Each of them will lead you to a different ending, and for the final boss, you will find the mechanical counterpart, Mr. X, who is a rather strong and self-centered robot called Death Mach.
