We invite fans to welcome this excellent mod for Streets of Rage Remake v.5.1, created by LucasHB and the SoRR Community. Very interesting and exciting game scenarios, accompanied by epic battles in beat 'em up style.
Streets of Rage D.O.A. (Dead on Arrival) is a complete and new story for the characters of Wood Oak City. Many times, the trade union boss, Mr. X, has announced a bounty for the heads of Axel, Blaze Adam, Zan, and Max. You can guess that the whole town is on their heels. The brave fighters have no choice but to once again head to the headquarters of the syndicate to eliminate this new threat.
That's the story in a nutshell. However, the technical implementation of this mod is very interesting. It creates a completely new atmosphere of play that will be interesting to you. The scenes are well chosen and synchronized. They will take you through never-seen-before parts of the city. This includes new interesting niches to hide behind or new hard-to-spot traps to overcome.
Although much of the background is borrowed from the Final Fight game, it has been renovated to the point where it completely blends in with the world of SoRR.
Although it looks like a short fan game, it has the characteristics of a feature project. Several alternative routes are available for the various stages. Thanks to this, you will be able to replay the game each time in a different way. Mr. X's office this time is replaced by a medieval throne room, where he awaits you with his Tommy.
